How We Help

We have been engaged in the development of purpose built prison units as part of the UK Government’s Prison Estates Transformation Programme for the Department of Justice. These are specially designed units the construction of which is strictly controlled and confidential. Units have been designed by Totally Modular in consultation with partners and are being manufactured in our main factory in the West Midlands.

Performance critical applications such as prison units produced by us are built to meet stringent Government expectations to achieve BREEAM certification and with full traceability of materials and processes from initial design and engineering through the construction process and to include the provision of comprehensive BIM assets.

How do modular buildings help prisons?
